We're a small family workshop in Michigan, not a data company. We collect what we need to take an order, make a carving, and get it to your door. Nothing here is sold, rented, or used to advertise to you.
When you buy something. Your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number if you give one, along with what you bought and what you paid.
We never see your card details. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page, not on this site. Your card number never reaches us and we couldn't store it if we wanted to.
When you ask about a commission. Your name and email, plus your phone number, zip code, and whatever you write in the message — all so we can reply with a sensible price.
While you browse. Which pages you look at, and how you move around them. See the section on Clarity below.
Your cart is kept in your own browser and isn't sent anywhere until you actually check out.

That's the whole list. We don't sell your information, we don't trade it, and we don't put you on a mailing list. The only email you'll get from us is about an order or a commission you asked about.
We use a tool called Microsoft Clarity to see how people actually use this site — which pages get looked at, where people get stuck, what gets ignored. It records how you move around the page and sets a cookie to do it.
Worth being straightforward about: Clarity is free because Microsoft also uses what it collects for their own purposes, including advertising. That's their arrangement, not ours, and it's the reason we've set it to its strictest setting — anything you type into a box on this site is hidden from those recordings before it ever leaves your browser.
If you'd rather not be recorded at all, you can opt out for your whole browser at optout.aboutads.info by selecting Microsoft. It works on this site and every other site using the same tool.
Orders are kept as business records — we need to know who bought what, for taxes and for anyone who comes back years later about a piece we made. Commission enquiries are kept while we're talking and for a while after, in case you come back to it.
Email us and we'll remove what we can. Records of completed sales usually have to stay for tax reasons, but anything else — a commission enquiry, an old message — we can delete on request.
This is a shop for chainsaw carvings. It isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
